Waterloo Regional Police Investigating After Male Sprayed with Noxious Substance in Kitchener

Waterloo Region, Ontario - Waterloo Regional Police are investigating an assault that took place on November 11, 2022, in Kitchener. 

At approximately 8:40 p.m., police were called after an unknown male requested help after being sprayed with a noxious substance while involved in an altercation with another male. 

A few passersby stopped to help the male before he fled when they advised they were calling for help. 

The incident is believed to have occurred by a restaurant in the area of Ottawa Street North and River Road East. 

The investigation is ongoing to identify the individuals involved in the altercation.
