Waterloo Regional Police Investigating after Vehicle Fails to Stop for Traffic Stop in Waterloo

Waterloo Region, Ontario - Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate after a vehicle failed to stop during an attempted traffic stop in Waterloo. 

On March 28, 2022, at approximately 4:30 a.m., police attempted to stop a stolen 2005 blue Acura motor vehicle after observing the vehicle in the area of King Street South and William Street East. 

The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and reversed into a police cruiser before driving on a sidewalk and fleeing the area. 

The investigation is ongoing.
