
Waterloo Region, Ontario - On April 19, 2021, at approximately 9:20 p.m., Emergency Services responded to a medical call at a motel in the area of Victoria Street North and Forfar Avenue in Kitchener.
Upon arrival, Emergency Services located a 28-year-old male with serious injuries. The male was transported to hospital by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services with non-life-threatening injuries.
Through the initial investigation, it is believed that the male was assaulted. The suspect is believed to be known to the victim, and there is no concern for public safety.
The investigation is ongoing by members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's General Investigations Unit. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 519-570-9777 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
