Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Gun Incident in Kitchener

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a weapon call that occurred in Kitchener. 

On December 27, 2021, at approximately 7:55 p.m., police responded to the area of Thomas Slee Drive for a report of a male being threatened with a firearm. 

The victim advised that he was approached when sitting in his vehicle at his residence by the male subject, who was brandishing a firearm. 

The victim did not sustain any physical injuries due to the incident.

The outstanding suspect has been described as a South Asian male with a thin build, approximately 5'10" tall, and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, dark jeans and a face mask. 

The investigation is ongoing by members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's General Investigations Unit.
