Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Robbery on Iron Horse Trail in Kitchener

Waterloo Region, Ontario - Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a report of a robbery that occurred in Kitchener. 

On October 13, 2021, at approximately 3:50 a.m., police responded to a report of an injured male on the Iron Horse Trail, near David Street, in Kitchener. 

A 53-year-old male was transported to hospital by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services with serious injuries. 

Through investigation, police learned that a group of three to four males assaulted the victim and stole personal property in the area of the Iron Horse Trail and Queen Street South.  

The investigation is ongoing by members of Waterloo Regional Police Service's General Investigations Unit.
