Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the individual in the photos.

UPDATED RELEASE:
Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a robbery that occurred at a business in Kitchener on January 3, 2023.
At approximately 6:30 p.m., police responded to a store in the area of Ottawa Street South and Fischer-Hallman Road.
Through investigation, police learned that a male was observed attempting to leave the store without paying for merchandise.
Once approached by store staff, a physical struggle ensued, and the male used a knife against a store employee, cutting their clothing.
The employee did not sustain any physical injuries.
The male then fled the store.
Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the individual in the photos.
