Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Stabbing Incident that Left Three Individuals Injured

Waterloo Region, Ontario - Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a disturbance that led to several individuals sustaining stab wounds. 

On August 1, 2022, at approximately 10 p.m., police responded to the area of King Street North and James Street in Waterloo. 

Upon arrival, police located two individuals suffering from stab wounds. Both were transported to hospital by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services with serious injuries. 

A third individual was located at an apartment and was transported to hospital by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services with serious injuries. 

As a result of the investigation to date, a 22-year-old Scarborough male and a 21-year-old Toronto male have been charged with Failing to Comply with Undertaking. 

The third individual, a 22-year-old Waterloo male, has been charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose. 

The investigation is ongoing by members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's General Investigations Unit.
