Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Three Vehicle Collision in Waterloo

Cruiser pulled over on side of road with lights on - "Investigation ongoing"

Waterloo Region, Ontario - Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a collision in Waterloo. 

On November 15, 2021, at approximately 5 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision involving three vehicles in the area of Erb Street East and Moore Avenue North. 

A red Hyundai was travelling east on Erb Street East. The suspect vehicle, described as white, was travelling in the same direction. The driver of the suspect vehicle attempted to pass the Hyundai. The driver of the Hyundai attempted to swerve to avoid the collision and lost control of their vehicle, and struck the front bumper of a white Kia before veering to the left of the roadway and striking a light pole and a vehicle in a parking lot. 

One occupant was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services. 

The investigation is ongoing.
