Waterloo Regional Police Make Arrests after Drug Warrant in Kitchener

Waterloo Region, Ontario - Waterloo Regional Police have arrested two individuals for drug-related offences in Kitchener.

On August 3, 2022, members of the Direct Action Response Team (DART) and Emergency Response Team (ERT) completed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant in the area of Victoria Street North and Forfar Avenue.

Investigators seized suspected methamphetamine, cocaine, hydromorphone, morphine and an imitation firearm.

As a result of the investigation, a 55-year-old Kitchener male was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking (four counts)
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Possession of stolen property under $5,000

A 33-year-old Kitchener female was arrested and charged with possession of suspected cocaine.

The male was held for a bail hearing.
