Waterloo Regional Police Make Arrests After Robbery at Conestoga Mall

Waterloo Region, Ontario – On January 11, 2022, at approximately 6:40 p.m., police responded to Conestoga Mall in Waterloo after receiving reports of a robbery.

Three suspects, armed with weapons, including an axe and a crowbar, entered a jewelry store, smashed several display cases and stole a large quantity of jewelry.

As a result of the investigation, police have arrested two males. An 18-year-old male from Toronto has been charged with robbery with a weapon and possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose and a 20-year-old male from York has been charged with robbery with a weapon.

Members of Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Robbery Team are continuing to investigate.
