Waterloo Regional Police Make Arrests in Drug Investigation

Drugs and weapons seized after warrants completed by Police

Waterloo Region, Ontario On Wednesday, February 3, 2021, as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation, members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's Drugs and Firearms Unit, with assistance of the Emergency Response Team and the North Community Oriented Response Enforcement Team, conducted three search warrants - two at Kitchener residences and one at a Waterloo residence.

Upon searching each residence, police located and seized quantities of suspected:

  • Fentanyl
  • Methamphetamine
  • Psilocybin
  • Prescription pills
  • Weapons
  • Ammunition
  • Suspected stolen identity documents
  • Approximately $7,500 in Canadian currency

As a result of the investigation, five adults and one youth were arrested. The following individuals are facing several drugs and weapons-related offences:

  • 37-year-old Kitchener female
  • 36-year-old Kitchener male
  • 43-year-old Waterloo male
  • 26-year-old Kitchener male
  • 24-year-old Cambridge male
  • 16-year-old Kitchener youth
