Waterloo Regional Police Make Drug Arrest in Kitchener

Waterloo Region, Ontario – On January 7, 2022, at approximately 11:25 a.m., members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Direct Action Response Team (DART) investigated a suspicious vehicle in the area of Victoria Street North and Forfar Avenue in Kitchener.

As a result of the investigation, suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, hydromorphone, buprenorphine, morphine, ecstasy, and LSD was seized.

A 48-year-old Kitchener male, is facing numerous charges including:

  • Plate not authorized for motor vehicle
  • Obstruct police officer
  • Possess prohibited weapon
  • Possess weapon contrary to order
  • Identity theft
  • Make forged document
  • Possess identification document
  • Use counterfeit stamp
  • Eight counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking

The male was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
