Waterloo Regional Police Respond to a Shooting Incident Resulting One Person Injured in Cambridge

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police continue investigating a shooting incident in Cambridge.

On September 14, 2024, at 9 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting in the area of Elgin Street North and Northview Heights Drive.

A 19-year-old Cambridge male received a gunshot wound to the lower body and was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators believe this was a targeted incident.

The investigation is ongoing by WRPS’ General Investigations Unit.
