Waterloo Regional Police Service Launches Kindness Campaign for Children

Kindness Campaign

Waterloo Region, Ontario – The Waterloo Regional Police Service is encouraging children to focus on kindness as it launches its new #OneOfAKind Campaign.

The Campaign encourages children to take part in acts of kindness and share their experience with us. Children will be sent a #OneOfAKind certificate from Chief Bryan Larkin, thanking them for doing their part to make our community a better place.

“As the number of Covid-19 cases continue to rise and Region of Waterloo Public Health guidelines tighten, it’s more important than ever to show kindness and compassion to one another,” said Bryan Larkin, Chief of Police. “Being kind doesn’t have to cost a thing and it is something we can all do to help one another through these difficult times. Even a small act can have a lasting impact.”

The campaign begins November 18, 2020. Adults are also welcome to take part in the campaign.

People are asked to share their acts of kindness by e-mail (publicinfo@wrps.on.ca) or on our social media accounts – Twitter (@WRPSToday), Facebook (@waterlooregionalpolice), and Instagram (@officialwrps).
