Waterloo Regional Police to Hold Media Conference on Body-Worn Video and In-Car Video Pilot Project

Waterloo Region, Ontario – The Waterloo Regional Police Service will host a virtual information event to update media and the community on the official launch of its Body-Worn Video and In-Car Video Pilot Project. The community will be provided an opportunity to learn about the technology, the process, and how the technology works. The event will be livestreamed on our social media platforms at 1 p.m. A media question and answer period will be held shortly after via Zoom. Any member of the media wishing to attend the conference is asked to pre-register by e-mailing cherri.greeno@wrps.on.ca.
