Waterloo Regional Police Welcome 11 New Officers

Waterloo Region, Ontario – The Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) proudly welcomes Recruit Class #114 to its ranks at a badging ceremony at The Wellesley Recreation Complex in Wellesley Township on April 19, 2024.

Ten new Constables have completed their basic training at the Ontario Police College and will be officially sworn in during the ceremony.

Also receiving their WRPS badge is an experienced officer who brings a wealth of knowledge to our Service.

Before joining WRPS, the new members studied and worked in a variety of fields that will benefit WRPS and the community we serve.

The ceremony will begin at 1 p.m. and include members of the Police Services Board, WRPS Senior Administration, the Ontario Court of Justice, volunteers, family and friends.
