WRPS arrest 2 individuals in connection to several commercial break and enters

The Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Break, Enter and Vehicle Theft team have arrested two individuals in connection to several commercial break and enters in Kitchener and Waterloo.
During the months of August and September 2021, approximately 25 commercial businesses were targeted.
The suspects forced entry into the businesses and targeted the cash register.
On September 14, 2021, as a result of the ongoing investigation, a 42-year-old Kitchener male and a 20-year-old Kitchener female were arrested and charged with several break and enter related offences.
Both individuals have been held for a bail hearing.
The investigation remains ongoing and further charges are anticipated.
