WRPS Arrest a Cambridge Female For Impaired Driving After Multiple Collisions

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a Cambridge driver for impaired driving after multiple collisions in Cambridge

On March 21, 2025, at approximately 7:10 p.m., police responded to the area of Lowrey Avenue South and Ballantyne Avenue after receiving reports of a suspicious impaired driver.

Upon arrival, police located a black Tesla which matched the description provided. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop of the vehicle which resulted in the driver colliding with a police cruiser.

There were no reports of any physical injuries.

Officers managed to stop the vehicle and arrested the driver. The vehicle was also determined to be in connection to a previous collision on Concession Street.

A 29-year-old Cambridge female has been charged with impaired by alcohol, failure to stop after accident, flight from police officer, and dangerous operation.

The female is scheduled to appear in court in April 2025.

Police encourage anyone who observe suspected impaired driving to contact police immediately.
