WRPS Arrest a Kitchener Male for Firearm and Drug Trafficking Offences

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police arrests a Kitchener male after a firearm investigation.

On September 11, 2024, WRPS’ Drugs and Firearms Unit completed a search warrant at a Kitchener residence for an investigation involving unsafe storage of firearms.  

During the search, police seized one handgun, four long guns, four illegal extended ammunition magazines, and several thousand rounds of ammunition. Police also located several hundred illegal pills inside the residence.   

A 43-year-old Kitchener male is charged with five counts of unsafe storage of a firearm, four counts of possession of a prohibited device, and two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

The male is scheduled to appear in court in October 2024.
