Waterloo Region, Ontario – On April 15, 2023, at approximately 10:40 p.m., police responded to multiple reports of a white sedan motor vehicle travelling in the wrong direction on Highway 7/8 near Ottawa Street South in Kitchener.
Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in the area of University Avenue East near Bridge Street West in Waterloo.
As a result of the investigation, the driver, a 35-year-old Waterloo male was arrested and charged with the following:
- Dangerous Operation
- Operation while impaired by drug
The accused is scheduled to appear in court on May 10, 2023.
