Waterloo Region, Ontario – On April 18, 2023, members of the Direct-Action Response Team (DART) and Emergency Response Team (ERT) completed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant at a residence in Kitchener.
Through the investigation, police seized suspected cocaine and marihuana.
A 50-year-old Kitchener male was arrested and charged with:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of suspected fentanyl
- Possession for the purpose of distributing cannabis
- Possession of identity documents
- Drive while under suspension
