WRPS Arrest Male and Seize Drugs in Cambridge Drug Trafficking Investigation

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a Cambridge male after a drug trafficking investigation in Cambridge.

On March 20, 2025, members of WRPS' Drugs and Firearms Unit completed a search warrant at a residence in the area of Dundas Street North and Elgin Street North.

Officers located and seized suspected cocaine, methamphetamine, and over 400 prescription and non-prescription pills.

Drugs seized as a result of investigation.

As a result of the investigation, a 23-year-old male was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking (nine counts)
  • Possession of property obtained by crime

The male was held for a bail hearing.
