WRPS Arrest Male for Impaired Driving after Collision in Kitchener

Impaired Driving Arrest

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police have charged a male with impaired driving after a collision in Kitchener.

On January 24, 2025, at approximately 11:55 p.m., police responded to the area of Westmount Road West and Queen’s Boulevard for reports of a collision involving two vehicles.

Through investigation, officers determined that the driver of one of the involved vehicles was impaired by alcohol and placed him under arrest.

The driver, a 48-year-old Kitchener male, was charged with several offences, including:

  • Operation While Impaired
  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration
  • Dangerous Operation

There were no physical injuries reported.
