Waterloo Region, Ontario – Members of Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Drugs and Firearms Unit and Emergency Response Team (ERT) have arrested a male in connection to an investigation in Kitchener.
On September 8, 2023, investigators completed a search warrant at a residence in the area of Gildner Street and Park Street.
As a result of the investigation, officers located and seized a stolen vehicle, two replica firearms, a shotgun, and ammunition.
A 39-year-old Kitchener male was arrested and charged with the following:
- Operation of Conveyance while Prohibited
- Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000
- Possession of an Identity Document
- Fail to Comply with Release Order (three counts)
- Possession of a Weapon Contrary to Prohibition Order (two counts)
The male was held for a bail hearing.
