Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police have identified and arrested a male in connection to an assault in Kitchener.
On June 15, 2024, police responded to reports of a disturbance in the area of Bleams Road and Homer Watson Boulevard. A victim was assaulted by a male on a Grand River Transit Bus.
On July 4, 2024, with assistance from the public, police identified and subsequently arrested the involved male.
As a result of the investigation, a 22-year-old Kitchener male has been charged with assault with a weapon.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court on August 21, 2024.

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate an assault in Kitchener.
On June 15, 2024, police responded to reports of a disturbance in the area of Bleams Road and Homer Watson Boulevard.
Through investigation, it was discovered that the victim was assaulted by an unknown suspect.
Police are looking to identify and speak to the individual pictured below in connection to this incident.
