WRPS Central Division Officers Charge Male after Disturbance in Kitchener

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police have charged a male after responding to a disturbance in Kitchener. 

On November 26, 2022, at approximately 5:45 p.m., police responded to a report of a disturbance in the area of Centreville Street and Morgan Avenue. 

Through investigation, officers determined that a male had been assaulted by another male. The victim did not sustain any physical injuries.

As a result of the investigation, a 66-year-old Kitchener male has been charged with assault and mischief under $5,000. 

The victim and the accused are known to each other.

The accused was released with a court date in January 2023.
