WRPS Central Patrol Arrest Kitchener Male in Connection to Multiple Break and Enters

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police located and arrested a Kitchener male in connection to four break-and-enters in Kitchener.

On September 12, 2024, officers from WRPS’ Central Neighborhood Patrol located a male in connection to a series of break-and-enters in the area of King Street East and Eby Street North.

Between August 30 and September 10, 2024, the male is believed to be part of four separate break-and-enters in the Benton Street area in Kitchener.

The 53-year-old male was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Six counts of break and entering
  • Three counts of theft under $5000
  • Three counts of Mischief under $5000
  • Disguise in intent to commit an indictable offence
  • Possession of a weapon contrary to order
  • Possession of stolen property under $5000
  • Possession of a schedule I substance

The male was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
