WRPS Charge Driver after Two Vehicle Collision at Waterloo Intersection

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police charge driver after responding to collision in Waterloo.

On March 30, 2025, at approximately 9 a.m., officers came across a collision at the intersection of Erb Street East and Weber Street North.

Through the investigation, it was determined that one of the drivers attempted to turn left while in the intersection and struck another vehicle, resulting in one of the vehicles striking a traffic light pole. Non-life-threatening injuries were reported.

As a result of the investigation, a 33-year-old female driver was charged with Careless Driving.

The intersection was closed for several hours due to traffic light repairs and has since been reopened.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or may have information or video footage is asked to call the police at 519-570-9777, extension 6399.
