WRPS Continue to Investigate a Collision Involving a Motorcycle in Cambridge

Traffic Service's Unit investigating a motor vehicle collision.

Waterloo Region, Ontario - Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle in Cambridge.

On October 8, 2022, at approximately 2:50 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision between a car and a motorcycle at the intersection of Franklin Boulevard and Sheldon Drive.

The motorcycle rider, a 72-year-old Hamilton male was transported to an out-of-region hospital by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services with serious injuries.

The driver of the car, an 18-year-old Cambridge female reported no physical injuries.

The investigation is ongoing, and charges are pending.

Anyone else who witnessed the incident or may have any dash-cam footage is asked to call the Traffic Services Unit at 519-570-9777 extension 8856 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
