WRPS Continue to Investigate Commercial Robbery in Waterloo

Robbery Investigation Ongoing

Waterloo Region, Ontario  Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Robbery Team is continuing to investigate a commercial robbery in Kitchener.

On April 28, 2025, at approximately 5:10 a.m., police responded to a report of a robbery at a store in the area of Westwood Drive and Westmount Road West.

An unknown male entered the store, pointed a knife at an employee and demanded cash. The male then exited the store and fled the area. There were no injuries reported.

The suspect was described as a Black male, approximately six feet tall, with long black hair. The male was wearing black pants, black sweater, black puffy jacket, sunglasses and a blue medical mask.

Investigators are looking to identify and speak to the individual pictured below in connection to this incident.

The investigation is ongoing by the Robbery Team.
