
Waterloo Region, Ontario - Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian in Waterloo.
On August 9, 2022, at approximately 1:35 p.m., emergency services responded to a collision on Erb Street West at Ira Needles Boulevard.
The driver of a white pickup was travelling west on Erb Street West and struck a pedestrian who was attempting to cross the street.
The pedestrian, a 21-year-old male was transported by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services to an out-of-region hospital with serious non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the pickup, a 33-year-old Kitchener male did not sustain any injuries.
The investigation is ongoing by members of the Traffic Services Unit.
