WRPS Continue to Investigate Report of Hate-Motivated Graffiti in Cambridge

Hate motivated graffiti investigation.

Waterloo Region, Ontario – On April 18, 2023, Waterloo Regional Police received a report of hate-motivated graffiti at a school in Cambridge.

Graffiti was drawn within one of the school washrooms and included hate-motivated writing.

The investigation is ongoing by members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Hate Crime Unit, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Unit and the Community Engagement Unit.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call police at 519-570-9777 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Anonymous tips can also be submitted at www.waterloocrimestoppers.com.
