Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a suspicious fire in Kitchener.
On May 17, 2024, at approximately 4:30 p.m., emergency services responded to the area of Courtland Avenue East for a report of a fire in the basement of a house.
The initial estimate of damages is believed to be approximately $50,000.
There were no reports of any physical injuries.
The fire is believed to be suspicious, and the investigation is ongoing.
