
Waterloo Region, Ontario- Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate a theft of a motor vehicle in Kitchener.
On February 3, 2023, at approximately 3:40 p.m., police received a report of a stolen vehicle from a parking lot located at 2420 Homer Watson Boulevard.
The owner of the vehicle was vacuuming their parked vehicle when an unknown male entered the driver seat and fled the parking lot.
The suspect faced heavy traffic when entering Homer Watson Boulevard and began to weave through traffic. The suspect jumped a median and drove through a red light at Homer Watson Boulevard and Conestoga College Boulevard to flee the area.
The suspect was last seen travelling on Homer Watson Boulevard towards Highway 401.
The investigation remains ongoing.
