WRPS Continues to Investigate Collision in Cambridge

Ongoing collision investigation.

Waterloo Region, Ontario - Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a motor vehicle collision at Hespeler Road and Maple Grove Road in Cambridge.

On August 15, 2022, at approximately 12:10 p.m., emergency services responded to a collision involving a car and a transport truck.

The driver of a black car was turning left from Hespeler Road onto Maple Grove Road when it was struck by a transport truck that was travelling south on Hespeler Road.

The driver of the car, a 50-year-old Kitchener male was transported by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the transport truck, a 25-year-old Brampton male reported no physical injuries.

The investigation is ongoing by members of the Traffic Services Unit.
