WRPS Continues to Investigate Large Disturbance in Uptown Waterloo

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a large disturbance that occurred in Uptown Waterloo. 

On February 14, 2025, at approximately 2:10 a.m., police responded to multiple reports of large disturbance out front a licenced establishment on King Street North near Princess Street East.

Through the investigation, it was determined that two unknown male suspects sprayed multiple individuals with bear mace before fleeing the area.

The victims sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident.

Members of the WRPS’ General Investigations Unit are looking for anyone with information regarding the incident or the subjects. 

Anyone with information or video footage of the incident is asked to call police at 519-570-9777, extension 6370.
