WRPS Continuing to Investigate Pedestrian Collision in Kitchener

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police’s Traffic Services Unit is investigating a pedestrian collision in Kitchener.

On December 11, 2024, at approximately 8:30 a.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision between a Mazda motor vehicle and a pedestrian on Queen Street South near Courtland Avenue West.

The pedestrian, a 31-year-old female from Kitchener, was transported to an out-of-region hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver, a 25-year-old male, reported no physical injuries.

The investigation is ongoing and charges are anticipated.
