WRPS Continuing to Investigate Person on Person Robbery in Cambridge

Ongoing robbery investigation.

Waterloo Region, Ontario – On August 13, 2022, at approximately 8 p.m., police received a report of a person on person robbery in the area of Simcoe Street and Ainslie Street North in Cambridge.

The victim was assaulted by two suspects and had their property taken. A knife was brandished during the incident.

The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the incident.

The victim and suspects are believed to be known to each other.

The investigation is ongoing by members of Neighbourhood Policing South Division
