WRPS Drugs and Firearms Unit Complete Warrant in Kitchener

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Members of Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Drugs and Firearms Unit and Emergency Response Team (ERT) have made an arrest in connection to a drug investigation.

On January 13, 2022, investigators completed a search warrant in the area of King Street East and Kinzie Avenue in Kitchener.

As a result of the investigation, officers seized suspected fentanyl, cocaine and MDMA.

A conducted energy weapon, ammunition, body armour, and drug trafficking indicia were also seized.

A 32-year-old Kitchener female, has been arrested and charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a prohibited weapon.

The Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Drugs and Firearms Unit is committed to the safety of all citizens through proactive initiatives.
