
Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a hate-motivated incident in Cambridge.
On April 4, 2025, at approximately 3:30 p.m., a female was returning to her vehicle in a parking lot in the area of Pinebush Road and Hespeler Road when two males approached her in a vehicle. While in the vehicle, the males yelled slurs at the victim, and the passenger grabbed the victim’s clothing.
The suspects then left the area in the vehicle.
No physical injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
The investigation remains ongoing by WRPS’ General Investigations Unit.
