WRPS' General Investigations Unit Investigating Suspicious Kitchener Fire

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a suspicious fire in the area of Madison Avenue and Mill Street in Kitchener. 

On June 4, 2023, at approximately 1 a.m., emergency services responded to a fire at the rear of a business. 

The fire was extinguished by the Kitchener Fire Department. 

There were no reported physical injuries. 

The cause of the fire is considered suspicious, and the investigation remains ongoing by the Waterloo Regional Police Service's General Investigations Unit in partnership with the Office of the Fire Marshal.
