UPDATED RELEASE:
The Waterloo Regional Police Service's Robbery Team is continuing to investigate a robbery that occurred in the area of Highland Road West and Belmont Avenue West in Kitchener.
Investigators are looking to identify and speak to these individuals in connection to this incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
PREVIOUS RELEASE:
Waterloo Region, Ontario – On January 8, 2022, at approximately 1:35 p.m., police responded to the area of Highland Road West and Belmont Avenue West in Kitchener, for a report of a robbery.
Two suspects entered a business brandishing weapons and demanded merchandise and cash from store employees.
The suspects were last seen fleeing the area in a vehicle on Highland Road West towards Queen Street South.
The suspects were described as Black males, wearing black ski masks and all black clothing.
There were no physical injuries reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
