WRPS Investigating a Person-on-Person Robbery in Kitchener

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate after a person-on-person robbery in Kitchener.

On July 4, 2024, at approximately 2:35 a.m., police responded to the area of Wellington Street North and St Leger Street for a report of a robbery.

The victim, a 47-year-old Kitchener male, reported being approached by an unknown male who stole his belongings.

The suspect is described as a Black male in his mid-20s, weighing approximately 250 pounds.

The victim did not sustain any physical injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
