WRPS Investigating Pedestrian Collision in Kitchener

Ongoing collision investigation.

Waterloo Region, Ontario – On August 13, 2022, at approximately 1:50 p.m., emergency services responded to a report of a collision involving a pedestrian in the area of Westwood Drive and Glasgow Street in Kitchener.

The driver of a black Nissan Rogue struck a young child while reversing out of a driveway.

The young child was transported by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation remains ongoing by members of the Traffic Services Unit.
