WRPS Investigating Suspicious Person Report in Deer Ridge Area of Kitchener

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a report of a suspicious person in Kitchener. 

On July 4, 2024, at approximately 2:45 p.m., a female was approached by a male driver while she was walking in the area of Deer Ridge Drive and Lantern Street.

The unknown male driver attempted to engage the female in conversation before leaving the area in the vehicle, heading east on Deer Ridge Drive.

There were no reported physical injuries as a result of the incident. 

The driver is described as a Black male in his mid to late 30s with a slim build and black hair.

The involved vehicle is believed to be a black Toyota Camry.
