WRPS Investigating University of Waterloo Break-In

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police Services’ Break, Enter, and Vehicle Theft Team (BEVT) is investigating a break-and-enter at the University of Waterloo.

On June 17, 2024, two unknown males broke into an office at the University of Waterloo and stole several laptops.

BEVT investigators would like to identify and speak to the individuals pictured below in connection to this incident.

The investigation is ongoing.

The stolen computers have been remotely disabled by the University.

When making online purchases, members of the public are encouraged to:

  • Inspect items before purchase and consider requesting proof of ownership
  • Contact police if you locate property being sold that you believe to be stolen.
  • Consider using the Buy and Sell Exchange Zones located in the parking lots of WRPS facilities when finalizing online transactions.
