Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Traffic Services Unit is investigating a serious, pedestrian-involved collision in Kitchener.
On August 27, 2024, at approximately 8:30 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a motor vehicle at King Street East and Fairway Road North.
The pedestrian was transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.
The northbound lanes of King Street East were closed for approximately two hours for the police investigation.
The investigation is ongoing.
