Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Robbery Team have arrested a male in connection to a commercial robbery in Kitchener.
On October 5, 2023, at approximately 2 p.m., police responded to a report of a robbery at a convenience store in the area of Stirling Avenue South and St. Clair Avenue.
Through investigation, police learned that an unknown male entered the store carrying a knife and attempted to take money from the till.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, on November 17, 2023, a 37-year-old male was arrested and charged with the following:
- Robbery with a weapon
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
The male was held for a bail hearing.

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are seeking assistance to identify a male in connection to a commercial robbery in Kitchener.
On October 5, 2023, at approximately 2 p.m., police responded to a report of a robbery at a convenience store in the area of Stirling Avenue South and St. Clair Avenue.
Through investigation, police learned that an unknown male entered the store carrying a knife and attempted to take money from the till. The male was last seen leaving the area on a bicycle.
No physical injuries were reported.
Investigators would like to identify and speak with the male pictured below in connection to this incident.
The investigation is ongoing by WRPS’ Robbery Team.
