WRPS' Robbery Team Continues to Investigate an Armed Commercial Robbery in Waterloo

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a robbery in Waterloo that left one victim injured.

On January 27, 2025, at approximately 8:15 p.m., police responded to reports of a commercial robbery in the area of Bridgeport Road East and Weber Street North.

An unknown male attempted to steal merchandise from a store, and a loss prevention officer tried to stop the suspect. The suspect then used an edged weapon against the loss prevention officer, resulting in minor, non-life-threatening physical injuries. 

Police would like to identify the individual pictured below in connection to this incident.
