
Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a serious collision in Kitchener.
On November 25, 2022, at approximately 9:25 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision involving a motor vehicle and a pedestrian in the area of Homer Watson Boulevard and Ottawa Street South.
Through investigation, police determined that the driver of a red Hyundai SUV was proceeding through the roundabout while travelling on Homer Watson Boulevard and struck a pedestrian crossing the roadway.
As a result of the collision, the pedestrian was transported by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Hyundai, a 61-year-old Kitchener female, did not sustain any physical injuries in the collision.
The investigation is ongoing by WRPS’ Traffic Services Unit.
